Emerald Lake Dental Covid Response Plan

As we welcome you back to our office, we want to make you aware of the technology and procedures we have implemented to keep our valued patients and staff safe.

  • UVC and HEPA air purification systems have been installed to sanitize the air in our office
  • Additional high-volume aerosol evacuation systems are used to further contain aerosol produced by certain procedures
  • The order of our treatment procedures has been rearranged when possible to allow aerosol producing procedures to be completed at the beginning of the appointment.
  • Additional time is provided between patients to allow airborne droplets to fall before disinfecting the operatories.
  • Dental operatories have been reorganized to eliminate dental supplies from any potential exposure to aerosols.
  • All staff members are screened daily upon arrival to the office. Anyone feeling ill is required to stay home.
  • Our staff is wearing additional protection equipment, which in turn reduces everyone’s exposure risk.
  • All patients are pre-screened for symptoms or possible exposure prior to their appointment. Temperatures are taken and patients are re-screened upon arrival.Patients with symptoms or possible exposure are rescheduled or referred elsewhere for urgent treatment.
  • Our office has been arranged to allow for more social distancing.
  • Our office waiting room is closed. Patients are asked to wait in their cars until we are ready to see them.

Appointment Scheduling and Changes:

We would like to ask for your assistance and patience as we implement new appointment protocols in order to maintain the safest environment possible.

  • The time of your scheduled appointment may need to be adjusted as we try to accommodate all our patient’s needs.Please pay close attention to the time of your appointment from the appointment reminder as it may be slightly different than what was originally scheduled.
  • You will receive and email or a text prior to your appointment which will include a Covid-19 Screening form along with a medical history update. These forms must be completed 24-48 hours before your appointment in order to reserve the appointment time. If you are unable to complete the forms online, please contact our office.
  • Please call or text the office upon arrival to your appointment. DO NOT enter the building until you are called in.
  • Only the patient will be allowed to enter the office unless a guardian or caregiver is required.
  • Please wear a face mask at all times in the office, except while receiving care.
  • Please respect social distancing when entering the facility and while you are here.
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms or have had any potential exposure, please reschedule your appointment.
