Dental treatment is an excellent investment in an individual's medical and psychological well-being. Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important, life-enhancing care.

If you require dental treatment but are worried about the cost, there are several options available.  Our team will work with you to find a plan that will work within your budget and make it easy to focus more on your oral health than on the financial obligations associated with treatment.

At VanBuskirk Dental, we are pleased to offer third-party financing through Care Credit, allowing you to start treatment with no money down. Deferred interest plans are available to break up the cost of your treatment into smaller, more manageable monthly payments. For more complex dental treatment, Care Credit allows you to finance the cost over a longer period of time at a low interest rate.  There are no application or annual fees and most approvals are done instantly.  Visit to apply online for credit approval.

We offer a 10% discount to senior citizens age 65 and older.

We offer a 10% courtesy to members of our armed forces and veterans.

We offer a 10% courtesy for those choosing to pay in full with cash or check prior to the start of treatment.

We accept these major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

We accept Health Savings Accounts offered by many employers to help pay for the cost of dental treatment.

A lay away plan is an option for non urgent treatment.

For patients with insurance, we are happy to assist you in filing the necessary forms and will do everything possible to see that you receive the full benefits of your policy.

We accept any insurance that allows you to go to the dentist of your choice! We are in network with Delta Dental PPO and proudly accept many other insurance plans such as:

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield - Blue Par Select
  • Aetna
  • Guardian
  • Principal
  • United Concordia
  • Cigna
  • MetLife

If your plan is not listed there is still a good chance we take it.  Please reach out to our team.  We will be happy to contact your insurance company for you to check on your benefits and how they will work in our office!

Want to know what your insurance covers? Dental benefits are broken down into categories; Preventative, Restorative, and Cosmetic.  Most carriers pay approximately 80 - 100% of preventative services such as teeth cleanings and exams, and 50 - 80% on restorative such as fillings and crowns.  Cosmetic services are considered elective and are generally not covered.  Most all plans have a maximum annual benefit that they will pay out. However, no two plans are alike so until we review your policy, we cannot say exactly what is or is not covered.  Please contact our office and we will be happy to answer all of your questions!

We are committed to excellence in dentistry and believe the highest quality of dental service should be available to every patient, regardless of their level of insurance benefits.  Many dental plans contract with dental offices to provide services at a discounted rate.  Our decision NOT to sign on as a contracted provider of a reduced fee insurance plan allows us to provide:

  • Treatment based on your individual need, not dictated by insurance limitations
  • Experienced, long-term staff dedicated to compassionate care
  • Use of superior dental products and materials
  • Use of local dental laboratories that have an established relationship with your dentist
  • Referrals to choice specialists
  • Prompt appointment availability
  • Minimum of one hour adult check-up appointments, allowing ample time to perform a thorough, cleaning, evaluation and consultation of your individual needs
  • A friendly, relaxed, and most of all, personal atmosphere

Often times, your insurance benefits are similar whether you see an in or out of network dentist. It is just the dental office that is accepting a reduced fee for the services they provide, and the insurance company saves money.  We do strive to keep our fees as reasonable as possible for our valued patients and we will do everything to keep your dental care affordable!
